Site Rules

Although many of the goals carried out for the server itself (minexle.net) such as minimizing administrative intervention, e.g. censorship there will be a significant handling of content posted on this site. We also reserve the right in identifying and potentially removing any content (e.g. wiki pages, comments, etc.) that may bring unnecessary material (e.g. pornographic content, images/videos of gore, death, harmful computer programs/modifications, hacks, etc.) that serves only to abuse this site's functionalities to bring information out to the public eye that may otherwise harm an individual, group, the server, or our image in some way.

BY BEING ON THIS WEBSITE YOU AGREE TO ANY CONTENT POSTED OR MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING CONTENT (e.g. wiki pages, comments, etc.) THAT DO NOT RELATE IN SOME WAY WITH THE SERVER (minexle.net) OR THE GAME ITSELF (Minecraft) MAY BE CALLED INTO QUESTION AND MAY BE REMOVED OR REVERTED AS A RESULT.

Here's a detailed list of rules that you are expected to follow by participating on this site. This applies to all services offered by this site including (but not limited to) wiki pages, discussion threads, and direct messages.

• Keep all content respectful and appropriate.
  • If you believe that the content may be disrespectful or inappropriate, simply don't post it.
  • Content of any adult or especially sexual nature will be called into question and promptly removed followed by an appropriate punishment.
• Racism, sexism, or other forms of bigotry are strictly prohibited Do not insult other users.
  • Try to keep discussion civil.
  • Avoid harassing or using "real-world" threats towards users.
  • Try to keep discussion relevant. Do not derail threads with irrelevant material.
• Do not abuse any feature of the forums or you will swiftly receive an appropriate form of punishment as a result
  • Do not abuse the file upload system.
  • Posting/sharing malicious content (e.g. hacked clients, malicious software, etc.) is not allowed.
  • Do not access the wiki via automated mechanisms.
• No advertising servers, products, or services outside of the server environment.
  • Advertisements (including sponsorships) are allowed under the given circumstances:
    • Advertising must be for a service or product that resides explicitly within the server (minexle.net) itself
    • Advertising for a free product/service directly related to the server (minexle.net) itself in some way
  • Sending unsolicited private messages to users containing any sort of offer, recommendation, service, product, etc. will not be allowed.
• Do not use "real-world" threats targeted at users, or groups.
  • Meaning threats that are not limited to, threatening DoS/DDoS attacks, harassment, murder, or similar activities.
  • Any release of private or personal information is not permitted under any circumstances. This includes (but not limited to) addresses, locations, IP addresses, names, or passwords.
• Discussion or distribution of illegal content is not permitted in any form.
  • This includes (but is not limited to) pirated content.
  • It is not permitted to give or request legal advice. Please consult a legal professional licensed to practice in your jurisdiction.
• Creation of multiple accounts is not permitted.
  • If you have a legitimate need for a second account please consult [email protected]
    • Permission will only be issued to those with a single, specific purpose, and subject to the condition that the individual accounts of all users with access remain in good standing.
  • You are responsible for all actions performed by your account.
    • Keeping your account secure is your responsibility. "I was hacked." or "It was my friend/brother" are not excuses.
  • Using an alternative account to bypass a ban or other punishment will result in a permanent ban from the site and associated server.
